I understand there are people in the world that can be unkind. I am able to forgive these people. However, I avoid them as much as possible. When I forgive these unkind people, I allow myself to move on and enjoy life fully again.
I know that holding a grudge only harms me and robs me of joy.
As a general rule, I forgive quickly and easily. This is the best policy to have. This is the best thing I can do for myself.
All relationships have conflict, and it is important to be able to forgive. Without forgiveness, all relationships eventually die. My relationships are valuable to me, so I am willing to forgive.
I forgive those that wronged me in the past. I let go of the past. Holding on to the past is damaging to my present and my future. I release myself from the negative moments and the negative people from my past. I am moving forward with a clean slate.
Most importantly, I forgive myself for my mistakes and poor behavior toward others and myself. Forgiving myself is the most important thing I can do for myself.
Today, I am able to forgive others and myself completely. I forgive everyone from my past that has ever wronged me. Today is a new start.
