Think about the people who doubted you, mocked you and questioned your abilities.
Negative motivation is a concept that works in many situations. If you fear an undesirable outcome that would embarrass or cause you to fail at your job, sport or other goal or dream you may work harder to make sure the outcome doesn’t happen.
This type of motivation is especially used when one is fighting for his very survival or fear of some type – such as losing your job or your family.
Negative motivation may work to help you achieve your goals. To use it, you should ask yourself some questions about what would happen and how you would feel if you didn’t achieve your goals. Or use the the anger, worry or not wanting to feel like a failure in the positive towards your Purpose.
