Everyone can do the easy things in life. My big advantage over others is my ability to do the hard things.
Here is the big secret: the hard things are actually easy for me. I know that every task is easy to complete if approached in an effective manner.
I approach any task that might be challenging with a positive attitude. I believe that I can do anything I set my mind to. I accept that some tasks might require more time and effort than others.
Tasks differ, just as people differ. Some tasks require a different approach than others.
I allow myself the time I need to complete anything challenging. I focus on making progress and improving along the way. Anything can be accomplished with the right approach over a sufficient period of time.
I am diligent and patient. I do whatever it takes for as long as it takes.
I break challenging tasks down into manageable steps. I view a big or challenging task as multiple easy tasks. This is a strategy that makes every task easier.
Today, I am tackling those challenging tasks on my to-do list. I am confident that I can experience tremendous success. I can do the hard things that others fail to do.
Self-Reflection Questions:
- What do I need to accomplish that I have been avoiding?
- What would I do if I believed that I could not fail?
- What would I like to be able to do on a consistent basis that others typically cannot?
