The weather is heating up here in Melbourne and it also feels like the heat of my own Purpose is getting its flames fanned big time.
Being aligned with your purpose takes dedication, commitment and joy. I felt all of this when I traveled 5 and ½ hours to do a 3 hour workshop in Shepparton last Saturday.
It was a small intimate group of women – keen to learn about their Life Purpose and each got a 5 minute hot seat about one of their Gift markings in their hands (along with some special eye gazing techniques).
It wasn’t one of the biggest groups I have spoken in front of, and it wasn’t the smallest, but one could have easily gone …. Oh nearly 6 hours of driving in the car – will it be worth the travel, the money, and even start to think of ways to get out of it.
BUT when you are on PURPOSE and you know that these women have committed to YOU and to THEMSELVES and shown up – none of the negative thoughts even enter into it.
It’s called Surrender.
Have you ever had a moment when youv’e planned something and on the outside it didn’t look like it was going to be a success ?. Then when you SHOW up it totally rocks your socks and blows you away in a great way.
That’s surrendering to the outcome and being committed to SHOWING UP.
I take my Purpose very seriously – and also with a smirk and giggle to balance it all out.
I had a blast on Saturday and smiled all the way home in the car while the tunes were up loud. (road trips I’m kind of obsessed with them right now).
One thing that came up in the group is: We all feel a pull towards our Purpose until its so uncomfortable that we HAVE to get clarity around it.
We all as women are in different Phases of our life and it does good to know where you are at.
Stay at home mums, soon to be mum, corporate job, nurse, business women, kids just left home, you just left home aka your marriage, these are all different phases that we can be at …… and we all still have our Purpose that is nudging us to want more clarification, and permission to embody.
What I do say is that our Life Purpose is LIFE LONG – for the time we are on the planet. Not just in a 5 year gap that you get in and get out.
Ever evolving beings who desire change, experiences, connections, love and so much more. When we are not living to our Purpose personal design that’s when it comes unstuck.
So my long winded moral of the story is that no matter where you are on the planet reading this, is that you matter, Your Purpose matters, the difference you make by walking into a room and changing someones life matters – just by being you – the real you not the fake mask persona you.
Heres to unmasking all of it and remember gorgeous – as you live in your truth you give permission to others to do the same. It’s time. Today.
